Michael lives with his wife Pauline and twin daughters Carlie and AlexaRae on Rochelle Drive. Michael is employed by Monroe County.

Michael is very active in the Town of Chili, serving as Division Director for Chili Soccer as well as serving as coach for his daughter's team. Previously, Michael served as Director of Fields and Equipment, Fall 5v5 Coordinator and Board Member for Chili Soccer. Previously, Michael also served as liaison to the Recreation Advisory Committee. He currently is the liaison to the Library Board of Trustees.

Prior to being elected to the Chili Town Council, Michael was Chairman of the Drainage Committee and member of the Chili Master Plan Committee. Michael also served as liaison to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the Towns Master Plan Update Committees.

He is currently a member of the American Public Works Association. Michael and his family attend New Beginnings Christian Fellowship.
