ginnyignatowski2013The Town Clerk is responsible for issuing marriage, dog, fishing, hunting, and games of chance licenses in addition to handicapped parking and peddler’s permits. Fees are collected in the Town Clerk Office for various Town departments as well as on behalf of the State of New York. The Clerk is responsible for legal notice postings and is the custodian of all town records as the Records Management Officer. As such, she responds to Freedom of Information (FOIL) requests. The Clerk also works with the Monroe County Board of Elections in securing polling sites and coordinating elections. Notary Public services are also available at the Clerk’s office.

The Receiver of Taxes is charged with the responsibility to collect all County, Town, Special Districts, Fire Districts and School Tax Levies within the town of Chili. The Receiver collects for the Gates-Chili, Churchville-Chili, Wheatland-Chili, and Caledonia-MumfordSchool districts. The tax office also answers numerous requests for tax and property information.
