 The Historian for the Town of Chili is Bonnie Moore.  Bonnie assumed this position in 2008.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position.  Bonnie has been a member of the Chili Historic Preservation Board for a number of years.

Responsibilities of the Historian:
The Town Historian is responsible for collecting and preserving material relating to the history of the town for which he or she is appointed and to file such material in the town office. The Historian is accurate to the best of his/her ability when writing stories; makes materials accessible to students and researchers; cooperates with groups and officers in research and in preparation of programs and celebrations; participates in planning exhibits and events; tries to continually add to the local historical files with pertinent materials, and any other information of local historical value.
