The Monroe County Office for the Aging works in conjunction with the Town of Chili to offer nutritious meals for seniors ages 60+. Meals are available on Mondays at the Chili Community Center at 12:00 pm. See below for current meal services during COVID-19.

Chili Senior Center will provide Grab and Go lunches during the COVID-19 pandemic. Boxed meals, which are provided by ABVI, will be available for seniors (age 60 and older) on Mondays. You must request a meal in advance. If you have never participated in a program or received a lunch, please be sure to complete registration with a staff member.

How To Get a Meal:

  • Call the Senior Center to request a meal (585-889-6185). If there is no answer you may leave a message. Indicate that you would like a meal
  • You must request your meal by Wednesday at 12:00 pm the week prior to pick up
  • Meal pick up is in the rear parking lot of the Chili Community Center, Mondays and Thursdays, 11:00 am-12:00 pm
  • When you arrive: stay in your vehicle. We will place the meal in your backseat or trunk. Consider bringing a cooler bag or box to place your meal in.

To help support this Nutrition Program, please consider making a contribution which will be used to maintain and enhance this service. Your contributions are collected confidentially. If you are eligible for the program you may not be turned away for inability or refusal to pay the suggested contribution. 100% of the collected contributions go back into enhancing the program.

The Monroe County Senior Nutrition Program is sponsored in part by the Monroe County Department of Human Services/Office for the Aging, Monroe County Council on Elders, NYS Office for the Aging, US Administration on Community Living and your contributions.

In the case of Inclement Weather and the Office of the Aging cancels Lunch Club 60, there is no lunch. This announcement will be made on local channels 8, 10 and 13.
