Notice: Gates FD Public Hearing and Special Meeting
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING and SPECIAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025 of the Gates Fire District of the County of Monroe and State of New York has been adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Gates Fire District.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at the Gates Fire District Station 1, 2355 Chili Avenue, Gates, New York on October 15, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. A Special Meeting will be held immediately following the Public Hearing.
Pursuant to Town Law §181, the Board of Fire Commissioners shall hold a public hearing to discuss the contents of the proposed budget. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained.
A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Gates at the Gates Town Hall, 1605 Buffalo Road, Gates, New York and the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Chili at the Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Chili, New York or at the Office of the Fire District Secretary at the Gates Fire District Administration Building, 2365 Chili Avenue, Gates, New York where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and on the Fire District’s website, www.gatesfd.org.
