ADVERTISEMENT: Outdoor Fitness Court Installation

ADVERTISEMENT

The Town of Chili will receive sealed proposals for Outdoor Fitness Court® Studio Installation located at 25 Rock Island Road (Union Station Park), North Chili, New York 14514. Bids will be received by the Town of Chili at the Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, New York 14624 until 2:00 PM EST, prevailing local time on March 27, 2024, for the construction of the work outlined herein, in accordance with the Contract Documents.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the following place, date and time.

Bids will be received in a sealed envelope on a Lump Sum basis.

Bidding documents will not be available from the Owner and must be obtained from the designated website (Builder’s Exchange of Rochester – www.robex.com)

Bidding documents may be downloaded from the designated website (www.robex.com). Prospective bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room our source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

The work is generally described as follows:

Project Title: OUTDOOR FITNESS COURT® STUDIO INSTALLATION

The work under this contract shall include installation of the Fitness Court® Studio designed by National Fitness Campaign (NFC) for Town of Chili. The installation should follow all specifications and dimensions set forth by NFC. A complete set of instruction documents is included and required to be followed. This bid is for the installation and assembly of the Outdoor Fitness Court® Studio equipment elements, body-weight training wall, sports floor (Fitness Court and Studio areas), floor paint and art & vinyl decals on the front, back, and sides of the training wall. The equipment elements, body-weight training wall, flooring and art & vinyl decals will be provided by the Owner.

The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under the contract.

Proposals must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, as well as a signed copy of the Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate included in the proposal.

The Town of Chili is exempt under Section 1116 of the Tax Law and, therefore, no sales tax shall be included in the bid.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.

The Town of Chili reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt before awarding any contract. The Town of Chili further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which they may deem to be most favorable to its best interest.
