We Are Now Selling E-ZPass Tags in the Clerk’s Office!
The Town of Chili is now selling E-ZPass On-the-Go tags as a convenience and cost savings for area travelers. The pre-packaged tags are available for $25 at the Town Clerk’s office located at 3333 Chili Ave. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
E-ZPass On-the-Go allows qualified businesses and municipal offices to sell pre-packaged E-ZPass tags in order to make E-ZPass more accessible to residents. Customers can purchase a tag for $25, register it with E-ZPass before use and the tag will be active within 24 hours.
E-ZPass provides a savings of five percent on all Thruway tolls and is accepted in 16 states: Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The E-ZPass tags for purchase are for 2-axle cars, trucks and vans for private use only. The tags are not for business or commercial use.
