SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS

Job Title/Group: Substitute School Crossing Guards

The Town of Chili is accepting applications for the positions of Substitute School Crossing Guards to assist students before and after school with street crossing. The Substitute School Crossing Guards are not assigned to a specific location, but will supplement staffing for absences at two locations, Florence Brasser Elementary School and Paul Road Elementary School. The hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and will be subject to a background check and drug screening process. The wage for this position is $60.09 per day.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Chili, New York at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of April 2023, duly adopted a resolution subject to permissive referendum, the purpose and effect of which is to grant a Waterline Utility Right of Way and Easement to the Chili Fire Department, Inc., encumbering the property located at, and commonly known as, 3235 Chili Ave. (SBL 262200 146.13-1-19.1).

AMENDMENTS TO SECTIONS OF THE TOWN OF CHILI TO REMOVE IMPRISONMENT FROM PENALTIES FOR OFFENSES

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a Local Law has been introduced to the Town Board of the Town of Chili, New York, on the 12th day of April, 2023, to amend sections of the Town Code of the Town of Chili to remove imprisonment from penalties for offenses.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a Public Hearing upon said Local Law has been scheduled for the 17th day of May 2023, at 7:00 P.M., to be held by the Chili Town Board at the Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, New York 14624. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given. The Chili Town Board will conduct a Public Hearing on May 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the rezoning application for the property located at 4415 (the westerly portion) (GB) & 4423 (R-1-15) Buffalo Road (Tax #130.20-1-057 (the westerly portion) & Tax #131.20-1-58) from GB (General Business) & R-1-15 (Residential Single Family 15,000 SF min lot) to RM (Residential Multiple-Family District).
