The Chili Town Board will conduct a Public Hearing on August 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to consider an incentive zoning proposal for property located at 50 Airpark Dr.

The meeting will be held at the Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624. Anyone wishing to speak for or against this incentive zoning proposal may do so at this time. Please contact the Chili Town Hall by August 11, 2023 if you require special accommodations for the meeting. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON

A SIX MONTH MORATORIUM FOR SMOKE AND VAPE SHOPS

IN THE TOWN OF CHILI

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a Local Law has been introduced to the Town Board of the Town of Chili, New York, on the 14th day of June, 2023, to enact a six month moratorium for Smoke and Vape Shops in the Town of Chili.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a Public Hearing upon said Local Law has been scheduled for the 29th day of June 2023, at 7:00 P.M., to be held by the Chili Town Board at the Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, New York 14624. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given. Written comments may also be directed to the Chili Town Clerk, Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, New York 14624, on or before 4:30 P.M. on the 29th day of June 2023. If special accommodations are required for the meeting, please notify the Chili Town Clerk by June 26, 2023. LEGAL NOTICE

Town of Chili

Post Enactment Notice

Rezoning of 4423 Buffalo Rd and the westerly portion of 4415 Buffalo Rd.

The Chili Town Board duly conducted a public hearing in accordance with the Town’s Zoning code commencing at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall on May 17, 2023 addressing the rezoning of the westerly portion of 4415 Buffalo Rd. (262200 131.20-1-57) from GB (General Business) to RM (Residential Multiple-Family District) and 4423 Buffalo Rd. (262200 131.20-1-58) from R-1-15 (Residential Single Family 15,000 SF min. lot) to RM (Residential Multiple-Family District). Discussion upon the matter was had and all persons desiring to be heard were duly heard.

The Town Board, after due consideration of the comments at the public hearing and review of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, duly passed a resolution on June 14, 2023, by a vote of 3-2 in favor, to approve rezoning 4423 Buffalo Rd. (262200 131.20-1-58) and the westerly portion of 4415 Buffalo Rd. (262200 131.20-1-57) to RM (Residential Multiple-Family District).

SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS

Job Title/Group: Substitute School Crossing Guards

The Town of Chili is accepting applications for the positions of Substitute School Crossing Guards to assist students before and after school with street crossing. The Substitute School Crossing Guards are not assigned to a specific location, but will supplement staffing for absences at two locations, Florence Brasser Elementary School and Paul Road Elementary School. The hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and will be subject to a background check and drug screening process. The wage for this position is $60.09 per day.
