The Building Department is responsible for carrying out the Town of Chili's planning and economic development activities, as well as ensuring compliance with the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and various Town ordinances in the Town of Chili. This includes working with developers, contractors, and property owners; advising and coordinating with the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals and other town, county, and state agencies; and arranging for required permits and inspections.
